Santa in Space scoops window prize

RESIDENTS in Whitchurch received over £500 in prize money for their window decoration efforts.
The grand prize winner of the Family Christmas Window Decoration competition, judged by Whitchurch Arts, was ‘Santa in Space’ put together by the Lloyd family of Dances Lane.
They were also winners of the online poll which was held at www.whitchurch arts.org.uk The awards ceremony was held at the White Hart Hotel, Whitchurch.
Local businesses donated prizes.
The entrants included windows decorated with painted scenes, paper snowflakes, knitted Nativity characters and even Santa going down a water slide.
Emma Lloyd said: “We were delighted to take part in Whitchurch’s first window decoration competition.
“It was a great activity for all the family to be involved with right from the planning stages to the actual decoration.”
