Welcome to the live blog as the Olympic Torch arrives in Andover. Earlier today the torch was shown off to the people of Basingstoke and Winchester

The crowd has been growing for some time now in the High Street here in Andover. We were expecting rain but the sun is greeting the public travelling into the town centre! Many schools have been given the afternoon off to come and see the torch on what is set to be a glorious afternoon.

The Guildhall looks a picture in the sun and the crowd is still growing. Plenty of people taking to upper shop windows to try and get a glimpse of the torch.

Lots of school children have been allowed out of school early to make sure they can catch a glimpse of the torch - they're certainly making the most of the sunshine, too.
