AN ANTIQUES valuation event at St Mary’s Church on Thursday raised more than £660 toward the SMART Appeal which is raising funds for the building.
Three experts from Dreweatts and Bloomsbury Auctioneer gave their time free of charge to value items brought in by the public who paid for the privilege of the experts’ opinion and knowledge.
The experts Will Richards, James Nicholson and Geoffrey Stafford Charles, were kept busy and valued more than 300 items during their time at the church.
