A GOLD pocket watch worth £3,500 was stolen from an Andover jeweller.
The watch was stolen at about 12pm on Tuesday, 1 July from David Mellor Jewellers, in Waverley Walk.
The man is described as white, aged in his mid 20s and had blond shaved hair. He was wearing a blue shirt and khaki-coloured shorts.
Pc Amanda Wallis said: “Did you see this man in the area of David Mellor Jewellers?
“The theft happened at about 12.20pm and it’s believed the man ran off in the direction of Waterloo Court.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who has been offered a gold pocket watch for sale.”
Anyone with any information should contact Pc Wallis at Andover Police Station on 101 or call the charity Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.
