Police warn residents to stay vigilant after homeowner finds unknown male in garden
POLICE are warning residents to stay vigilant after an unknown man was seen in an Overton garden yesterday.
Between 10.15am and 10.30am, an unknown male was found to be in the garden of a property in Bridge Street, Overton on Tuesday, November 8.
When approached by the occupant, he said he was looking for a friend before leaving.
A thorough search of the area failed to locate him and police said no offences were identified.
He is described as white, stocky build, approximately 5ft 8in tall and aged around 20 and wearing a black hoody with the hood up and blue jeans.
Officers are asking anyone to report suspicious activity by calling 101 after an incident or 999 if suspicious activity is currently taking place.
