A SOLDIER has pleaded guilty to attempting to meet a teenage girl in Andover with the intention of committing sexual assault against a child.
Samuel Dallow, of Farmdale Grove, Rednal, Birmingham, appeared before Judge Keith Cutler in Winchester Crown Court earlier today.
The 25-year-old entered a guilty plea after being charged with communicating with someone who he believed to be a 14-year-old girl and attempting to meet her with the intention of engaging in sexual activity.
Judge Cutler agreed to adjourn proceedings for the purpose of a pre-sentence report and he is due to re-appear in Winchester Crown Court in June.
Dallow has been released on bail with the conditions that he resides at a specified address and that he does not use computers.
He is also required to sign the sex offender register at his local police station.
