AN ANDOVER man has been charged with allegedly producing cannabis, following a burglary probe.
Brian Attrill was charged with producing the Class B drug after being arrested by police, following an investigation into a burglary in Shepherds Spring Lane.
Officers later searched the 36-year-old's home, also in Shepherds Spring Lane, and found two cannabis plants.
Attrill was later released without further action for the burglary offence, but was charged with allegedly producing a Class B drug.
He will appear at Basingstoke Magistrates' court on Tuesday 11 July.
Meanwhile, a 17-year-old boy from Andover has been charged with the burglary, which police say took place sometime between 2pm and 11.15pm on Sunday 25 June.
He was also charged with possession of a controlled Class B drug.
The teenager is due to appear before North West Hampshire Youth Court on Friday 14 July.
