Handbag thief jailed
A THIEF who stole £300 worth of handbags from a Churchill Retail Park store has been jailed.
Fraser Charlie Williams admitted to stealing the three handbags from TK Maxx earlier this month when he appeared in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court.
The 23-year-old, of no fixed address, was sentenced to four weeks in prison as a custodial sentenced was deemed appropriate due to his previous record of offending.
He was also ordered to pay £50 compensation.
