A MAN who was almost two times over the drink drive limit has been ordered to carry out unpaid work.
Warren Doyle of Elder Crescent, Andover, was travelling on Salisbury Road on April 1 when he was caught drink driving.
A breath test revealed that he had 96 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit is 35.
At Basingstoke Magistrates Court on May 1 the 47-year-old pleaded guilty to drink driving.
Magistrates handed Doyle 80 hours of unpaid work and 10 rehabilitation days. He was also banned from driving for 24 months.
Doyle was also ordered to pay £85 court costs and an £85 victim surcharge.
