POLICE rescued a "vulnerable autistic teenager" after he was seen walking on a busy dual-carriageway near Whitchurch.
Officers were called to the A34 at 3.50pm on Monday 2 January after drivers reported seeing a boy walking on the 70mph road.
Police performed a rolling road block, using cars to slow the traffic on the dual-carriageway.
Officers then rescued the teenager, who police say had run away from his guardians.
Police say the teenager was uninjured.
