A mixed week at Andover Bowls Club with the Salisbury and District Men’s Team 1 game at Wilton rained off and the Team 2 game against Alderbury 1 off due to the opponents unable to raise a team.
On Monday Team 2 travelled to Downton for a game which could have gone either way until the hosts eventually came out on top 12-2.
The Ladies fared better winning at Salisbury 8-2 points in the Salisbury and District League.
In the Stan Hardman League on Thursday at St Mary Bourne Andover won on all rinks for a 7-0 victory and on Friday in the Basingstoke and District Rinks League the visitors were league leaders Basingstoke Town who proved too strong winning on all rinks for a 5-0 victory.
In the ladies county competitions the pairing of Jackie Kingston and Cynthia Hamilton continue on with a win against Diane and Sarah Adams of Follands 24-15.
In the county triples the pair were joined by Sue Milton and won their game at Pirrie Park 18-13 to progress in this competition as well.
In the Salisbury and District Ladies singles Ann Eaton and Jackie Kingston both had opponents from Wilton and each came away victorious to progress in this competition.
