Sparsholt II v Hurstbourne Priors.
Hurstbourne were comprehensively beaten by seven wickets on Saturday.
They made an impressive start with Ashok Nautiyal (38) and Richard Carter (30) putting on 61 for the first wicket but when Ashok was trapped lbw it signalled a disappointing collapse to 95-7 with all big guns back in the pavilion.
Steve Cady (23) steadied the ship and Tony Blyth also gave stability until he was run out as Priors reached 138 at the break.
Theri response was ideal as the military medium of Mark Matthews removed Potter then paceman Rajivy Kumar showed his pedigree with a great delivery to remove Herridge. Kumar then thought he had Vaughan caught down the leg side but the not out was costly as Vaughan made 52 which pushed the home side close to victory.
