NETBALL players celebrated the events of the winter season at an annual presentation evening last month.
Andover and District Netball Association ran a league split into three divisions, where 23 teams battled it out for the winning spots.
Vernham Vixens, Wimpy and Andover Arrows Purple were crowned champions across the board, and despite the closure of Andover Leisure Centre causing issues for the group, the league grew and gained two new teams for the year.
Association treasurer Kim Belbin said: ““It is a great chance to celebrate and recognise the hard work of all the players, officials and volunteers throughout the year.
“It was a fun evening and all winners and runners-up enjoyed celebrating their achievements.”
Special awards were also handed out to recognise the achievement, commitment or long service to netball in Andover.
The Committee Cup was awarded to Chloe Franklin for coaching both Division 2 and 3 winners, and the Lorna Harvey Award was presented to Lyndsay Pratt for her training of new umpires.
The association are looking to start the summer league this month and are taking entries for the winter season.
