Enham closing in on snooker leaders

Enham C have closed the gap at the top of the Andover and District Snooker League to six points after they beat Wolversdene B 5-2.

Gary Walters beat Bob Grist in the opening game.

Terry Lock and James Griggs shared the next two frames and the final game was also drawn by Richard Sopp and David Brooking.

Leaders Enham B shared the spoils with their A side after coming from two frames down after Andy Bannan lost the opener against Barry Coleman.

Ryan Pumfrey made it 2-2 when beating Chris Hynes in two tight frames then Ken Brown and James Mack shared the final two frames.

Wykeham and Wolversdene C drew 3-3 in the other match where Ben Day and Carl Johnson shared the opening two frames.

Josh Bulpitt and Nick Chilton drew the next two with Nick knocking in a season best 28 break.

Jerome Chaplin and Paul Savage also drew with Paul also knocking in a season best 31 break in the final frame.
