ANDOVER Hockey Mens Firsts were defeated 4-2 by Test Valley rivals Romsey last Saturday.
The visitors started well and scored an early goal to put Andover under pressure from the off.
Romsey hit again soon after and Andover’s confidence looked to be wavering.
However Sam Goacher found the net to bring the score to 2-1.

Romsey scored their third not long after but a determined Andover side hit straight back from the pushback earning a penalty stroke, which Jack Trott dispatched.
Andover pushed for an equaliser but all chances of a fightback were ended two minutes from time when Romsey struck to finish the game at 4-2.
