MAY I please take this
opportunity to thank
those who attended the
Farmers and Crafts
Market in Andover on
Sunday, 18 May for their
generosity in supporting
SSAFA.
A total of £311.25 was
raised (£162.31 from our
street collection and
£148.94 from our “Name
the SSAFA Ted” competition).
The naming of SSAFA
Ted was particularly popular,
because he had
sailed on Cunard’s RMS
Queen Mary 2 from
Southampton to New
York; had sounded the
Noon Whistle; and had a
magnificent Queen Mary
2 Crew Pass – the lucky
winner was Liz Male
with the name of
“Trebles”.
We are based in
Andover (in Union Street)
and provide practical
support and assistance to
servicemen and women,
veterans, and the families
of both, every single day
of the year.
So if you need help, we
are here for you and can
be contacted on 01264
352981.

Divisional Secretary
