IN our popular new series the Andover Advertiser is publishing a “thank you” column featuring messages sent in by readers. Whether you would like to show gratitude to a loved one or a complete stranger, this is the place to do it. Send messages to mike.sims@andover advertiser.co.uk.
We would like to extend our thanks to members of the public who donated funds at Dogs Trust’s event in Andover High Street on February 13.
It was fantastic to see so many supporters interested in rehoming dogs and keen to know about the charity.
We raised a total of £173.57 towards the care of the many dogs awaiting new homes at our 20 centres, including one in Salisbury.
Laura Nicholas, Dogs Trust dogmobile, assistant manager
We would like to thank all who came to my husband’s aid when he tripped up near Halfords, and especially the staff of Halfords who took care of him and called an ambulance.
He had to have stitches in his face and his hand which he fractured.
Because of complications he had to stay in hospital but now is home, so thank you all once again.
David and Pat Robinson
