I CANNOT tell you how much I agree with Mr James regarding the litter in Andover, it is a disgrace.
I live at Watermills Close, and use the riverside walks to town either side of Asda and the old TSB buildings.
People seem to think that they can throw anything anywhere, and I can assure you that some pieces of litter have been there for several months now.
So much so that I have taken it upon myself to pick some up every time I walk that way, at least I am doing my bit unlike the council who we pay to do it.
And don’t get me started on the cigarette butts outside the Be Wiser offices next to the river, I have reported this before.
Rant over, but a very sad affair – heaven knows what tourists think.
