MAY I as chairman of The Andover Talking Newspapers, appeal to your readers for help?
We provide a service to visually impaired folk in Test Valley by sending out a weekly summary of your newspaper.
This goes to our listeners on a memory stick, played on a sound box which we provide free to the listener.
We would like to increase the number of listeners we serve so if your readers know of someone who would like this let us know please. I am always glad to hear from anyone who would like to read for us; commitment 1-2 hours at the studio once a month.
Duties can be easily adjusted with other readers.
Lastly, I am looking for a volunteer Assistant Secretary, computer competent, who enjoys meeting people and is prepared to make short journeys within Test Valley. The job might take 2 hours a week, in or out of working hours. Any expenses will be met.
