THIS letter concerns whoever it was along Suffolk Road in Andover that felt it was acceptable to hold a noisy party on Saturday July 4th
It wasn’t just a party though, was it? It was complete with a marquee in the rear garden and a DJ set.
I would suspect (hopefully) that immediate neighbours were aware of it, but what about everyone else that lives within a few hundred metres of you, because that is how loud it all was.
Sadly we live in a society where all too frequently ignorance and lack of consideration for other people prevail, and I suppose you thought as it was the weekend it would be acceptable.
But what about families with small children?
What about senior citizens who go to bed early? What about the ever increasing people who work over the weekend? And finally also what about people who have sporting activities on a Sunday morning? A birthday party, a wedding, American Independence day, for whatever it was, please hire a hall next time.
