RE: YOUR recent beloved Butler story.
I described Cassie as one-time travelling gypsy and this was meant in the friendly and social context of someone I knew well and had travelled the open road in a horse-drawn caravan.
I have been asked to point out that Cassie wasn’t a gypsy.
I was told in good faith that Clem had a daughter called Rose. I am now told there was no such daughter.
I was told in good faith that Clem had a family of 11. Now ten, two of that number were Marjorie and Lovie who were stepdaughters Sincere apologies for any misunderstanding.
