FIRST of all may I say how much I enjoy reading the Andover Advertiser, but oh what a strange world we live in.
On the front page a kind hearted private hire driver gets a £70 parking ticket for helping an elderly passenger get to the bank safely. Next we get shop lifters getting fined a pittance for what they took. I wonder how much they have got away with in the past, and will continue to carry on in the future.
Then we allow a child abuser to stay, although the FBI want him.
Oh yes, then we get to the pitiful sight of Rusty, poor little dog, put the owners away with no food is my answer to that. Oh yes and the fine is coming out of benefits, so the tax payer is having to pay for the fine.
So pleased Rusty has now got a good home now. Now we go to another rapist and shoplifter. Bits of good deeds and news follow thankfully. I will call it a day now as I don’t want to be a bore, but sometimes I wonder what the heck is going on with our people who run this country.
