A NEW Vision for Andover.

If our wonderful council had used their brains back in the 1970s we wouldn’t need a ‘New Vision’.

We had beautiful buildings, housing and shops that would cater more than enough for our population of today.

We had department stores, quality shoe shops, a lovely delicatessen and fish shop, all the banks and cinemas you could need, oh and a decent off licence.

Today we have the remains of an old, lovely market town, with shops that are shut and the ones that are open don’t sell the things you need, apart from the odd few.

Even our sports centre has lost its way en route to an out of town location. Instead it is to remain on the same site, but don’t get me started on that subject. I’m sure the council would say this is progress.
