IT is strange how we sometimes abbreviate words without thought for alternative meanings.

In the Advertiser of 17 November, you refer to the Town Centre Partnership as TCP, which, as a pharmacist, I think of as Tricalcium Phosphate (think toothpaste)!

The Business Improvement District is BID. As a mortician (now retired); it is ‘Brought in Dead’.
