IN 2010, my family and I moved from the village of Longparish to South Wonston, on the outskirts of Winchester.
moved from the village of Longparish to South Wonston, on the outskirts of Winchester.
Following a good clear-out at the time of packing all our possessions for our move, a very old, antique copper bed warmer pan was accidentally put in our garden.
There could be an inscription or marking of some kind engraved in the copper metal, but over the years, any such could have faded out.
Very sadly, this heater - of family sentimental value - was stolen along with one or two other items from my back garden (located at the front of the house) and I believe these items, particularly the old-fashioned long handled copper bed warmer, were perhaps sold for money, in the Andover or surrounding areas.
Please, if anyone has bought any such item during this time or thereafter, perhaps you might kindly get in touch with me on stcardy@btinternet.
com or 07849 872616.
I am not necessarily wanting the sentimental item returned, but to track down the culprit who stole it from my garden.
Many thanks and I look forward to hearing from you in due course.
