THE footpath that links Northern Avenue with Shepherds Spring Lane needs some maintenance.
I understand, having contacted four different councillors in the past three years on this point, that it is a county council matter.
Yet nothing has been done to solve the water problem that occurs every winter, and not just when we have exceptional rainfall.
Why should mothers face the problem as illustrated on a main pedestrian route to town?
A more recent event is the tree root growth.
Will anyone in authority remedy this issue so that wheelchair users can pass safely along this footpath?
