Town can be proud of vigil

I WOULD be most grateful if through your letters page I can say thank you to all who contributed to and attended the Vigil and Lights Out on Monday evening.

Over 200 people attended the poignant and moving commemoration of the beginning of the First World War for Great Britain.

The mixture of traditional and contemporary reflections followed by standing at the Cenotaph with so many lit candles will be a memory I hold very dear and made me feel very proud to live in Andover.

Thank you Andover.
