WOULD it not be a good idea if more Test Valley borough councillors attended the meetings of Andover Town Council to answer questions from the town councillors present?
If councillors David Drew and Phil North can bother to attend, why can’t others, such as Chris Lynn, also attend?
County councillor Tim Rolt attends despite his opposition in principle to the town council, so why can’t his fellow county councillor Tony Hooke do the same?
Secondly, I enjoy reading the letters from your regular correspondent Derek Weeks on the subject of the countryside.
I remember bees being active during the mild winter of 1988/1989. I would be interested to hear from readers about country customs and practices, past and present, as I am currently doing a study of them.
