NOW that the proposed hospital development near the M3/A303 junction has been abandoned I hope that the Hospital Trust will provide a greater range of specialist treatment services at the Andover Hospital.
For too long Cinderella — sorry, Andover — has been the poor relation in what has been a rapidly expanding town whose residents, many of whom are elderly, find it difficult and costly being forced to travel to Winchester or Basingstoke either as patients or visitors. Cinderella had a coach. We did have one, but it was soon taken away!
