On Monday, January 29 I lost my wallet on Andover's high street. I didn’t realise I had lost it until I returned home.

Once I realised, I rushed back to town and retraced my steps visiting the last shop which I visited but to no avail.

Feeling quite sad, as there was a fair amount of cash in it, I went into my bank to cancel my cards.

Much to my surprise and absolute delight, some kind soul had found it and handed it in as they saw my bank cards. All the cash was intact.

This totally restored my faith in honesty and human kindness. I was so delighted.

Sadly the lovely person who found it did not leave a name or address for me to contact them and thank them or indeed treat them. Whoever you were, I’m very very grateful and so thankful.

Thank you so much.
