PUPILS at an Andover school were inspired to explore future career paths at a dynamic careers day - and even heard from a former pupil who is now a commercial pilot.

Rookwood School held its first Ambitions Day, organised by the school's careers and progression advisor, Sarah Singlehurst.

The day consisted of a series of sessions to inspire pupils from Year 7 to Sixth Form to think about their futures.

There was a lineup of guest speakers who shared valuable insights and got the pupils to take part in thought-provoking activities.

Mrs Singlehurst said: "After months of planning, I was beyond thrilled to see Rookwood School's Ambitions Day come to fruition.

"Witnessing pupils engage with such enthusiasm and curiosity was incredibly rewarding. My aim is to continue providing valuable guidance to help them navigate their future paths."
